Nino Schurter es el primer corredor en ganar el titulo WC Elite al siguiente a�o despu�s de ser SUB-23. Este es su 4 titulo mundial.
Una nota interesante sobre los World Champions:
Los ganadores de estas carreras tienen el derecho de portar un jersey especial con el color del arco iris el a�o siguiente, adem�s de llevar el dibujo del arco iris en el pu�o y cuello durante el resto de la carrera profesional.
