Showing images in posts

Adding an image to a post
phpBB BBCode incorporates a tag for including images in your posts. Two very important things to remember when using this tag are: many users do not appreciate lots of images being shown in posts and secondly the image you display must already be available on the internet (it cannot exist only on your computer for example, unless you run a webserver!). To display an image you must surround the URL pointing to the image with [img][/img] tags. For example:

[img]http://www.google.com/intl/en_ALL/images/logo.gif[/img]

As noted in the URL section above you can wrap an image in a [url][/url] tag if you wish, e.g.

[url=http://www.google.com/][img]http://www.google.com/intl/en_ALL/images/logo.gif[/img][/url]

phpBB BBCode incluye etiquetas para incluir imï¿½genes en sus mensajes. Dos cosas muy importantes a recordar cuando se utiliza esta etiqueta son: muchos usuarios no aprecian muchas imï¿½genes en un mensaje y en segundo lugar, la imagen que Ud. quiera mostrar debe estar disponible en Internet (no puede existir sï¿½lo en el equipo, por ejemplo, a menos que dirija un sitio Web). Para mostrar una imagen debe incluir el URL que apunta a la imagen con [img] [/ img]. Por ejemplo:

[img] http://www.google.com/intl/en_ALL/images/logo.gif [/ img]

Como se seï¿½alï¿½ en la secciï¿½n anterior se pueden incluir imï¿½genes en un [url] [/ url] si asï¿½ lo desea, por ejemplo,

[url = http://www.google.com/] [img] http://www.google.com/intl/en_ALL/images/logo.gif [/ img] [/ url]
